Tired of the same old chip and dip routine? Try these biscuits stuffed with cream cheese and crab meat - great with ice cold beer!
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Combine crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, onions, garlic
salt and basil in a small bowl.
- Separate biscuits into 16 rounds; flatten each with rolling pin or pat with hands. Place an equal amount of crab mixture on each circle and fold in half. Seal edges by pressing with tines of fork.
- Place each bundle on greased baking sheet. Brush tops with olive oil OR melted butter. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown. Serve hot.
These can be assembled 1 day ahead, covered and stored in refrigerator until ready to bake and serve.
