Asian Rice Pilaf

INGREDIENTS

2 teaspoons sesame oil
1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed chicken broth
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon Durkee® Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Durkee® Ground Ginger
1/4 cup sliced green onions

DIRECTIONS

Heat oil over medium heat in medium saucepan until hot.  Add rice; cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until golden. 

Stir in broth, water, soy sauce, garlic powder and ginger; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.  Stir in green onions.
