3-Way Cincinnati Chili

INGREDIENTS

8  ounces spaghetti, uncooked and broken in half
1  pound lean ground beef
1  can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon Durkee® Ground Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Durkee® Ground Allspice
1 package Durkee® Original Chili Seasoning Mix
1/2  teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2  teaspoon white wine vinegar
1/2 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

Combine 3/4 cup water and beef in large saucepan. Bring to a boil, uncovered, stirring often.

Add tomato sauce, onion, cinnamon, allspice, seasoning mix, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar to saucepan. Return to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

Divide cooked pasta into 4 bowls. Top with 1/4 of chili mixture and cheese. Serve with oyster crackers.

Recipe Note: For 4-way chili top each serving with cheese and 1/4 cup kidney beans. For 5-way chili top each serving with cheese, kidney beans and diced raw onions.
