A Few Ideas To Get You Started
One tablespoon equals the flavor of 1/4 cup rum. Use 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoons for 4 servings or for a basic cake or cookie recipe. For cake or bread glaze, combine 1 teaspoon Rum Extract, 2 cups powdered sugar, and 3 tablespoons milk. Add 1 tablespoon to pumpkin or mince meat pie filling. For Rum Sticky Buns, add 1 teaspoon to brown sugar mix. For Dessert Fluff, blend 1 (10 oz.) package frozen strawberries, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 2 teaspoons Rum Extract until pureed; fold in 1 (8 oz.) package whipped topping.
