A Few Ideas To Get You Started
Add 1 teaspoon Maple Flavor to basic cake or cookie recipes. It blends well with rum, chocolate, and vanilla flavors. Maple Flavor tastes great when added to pancake or waffle batter; start with 1/2 teaspoon per cup. Stir 1 teaspoon into custard, rice, or tapioca pudding mix for a special treat. Maple Flavor is perfect with bananas; try 1 teaspoon over fresh sliced bananas or in banana cake or frosting. For quick homemade maple syrup, combine 1 cup water, 1 cup each of brown and granulated sugar; boil 1 minute; stir in 1 tablespoon Maple Flavor.
