Decadent Chocolate Mousse Pie

Easy to make and delicious to eat.
8 Servings
Chocolate crumb crust, prepared 1-9 inch
Durkee Ground Cinnamon 1/4 tsp.
Chocolate chips, semi-sweet 12 oz. (2 cups)
Cream, heavy 1/2 cup
Durkee Pure Vanilla Extract 2 tsp.
Durkee Ground Cinnamon 1 tsp.
Cream, heavy 1 cup
Powdered sugar 1/4 cup


Sprinkle chocolate crumb crust with 1/4 teaspoon Durkee Ground Cinnamon.  Set aside.

Combine chocolate chips and 1/2-cup whipping cream in a medium-sized microwave safe bowl.  Microwave on HIGH (100%) 1 to 2 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring every 30 seconds.  Stir in remaining Durkee Ground Cinnamonand Durkee Pure Vanilla Extract.

Chill chocolate mixture in an ice water bath, stirring frequently until chocolate is cooled to room temperature.

Beat remaining 1 cup whipping cream on high speed of electric mixer, gradually adding sugar, until soft peaks form.  Stir 1/3 of whipped cream into chocolate mixture.  Gently fold in remaining whipped cream; spoon into crust.  Cover and refrigerate 2-3 hours or until set.  If desired, garnish with additional whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles or fresh berries.
